Shan was visiting!
Well another month has gone by without any blogging. Life just gets so crazy. I cant imagine what it is going to be like when I start school fulltime. Well, we have had a great month. Shan came to visit, which proved to be a great time. We hung out, went for a long walk around JP, went for a couple runs, and had a lot of late nights. It was great to see him, and we are still trying to convince him to take a job out here and be closer to us...not working so far, but we are making progress. Shan, it was great to see you! Cant wait to see you again!
The weekend after Shan came to visit, we took a night trip to Provincetown at the very tip of Cape Cod. We signed up for a "dog run", and took Mac there with us. We loved, loved, loved P-town. The people were friendly, great food, great atmosphere, etc. And the dog run on Saturday was great. Mac, of course, was the fan favorite. We did a 10K, and as we came in to cross the finish line, I wish you all could have seen him wag his tail, and jump up and down to all the cheering. It was SO cute. He had a great time.
The next weekend, I took a little trip to the land of 10,000 lakes. I didnt tell many people I was coming home (sorry family!) because I wanted to make it a girls trip. I came home for my good friend Steph's Bacholerette Party, where I had a chance to catch up with all my favorite girls. I stayed in Minneapolis with Danielle, got a chance to see my fabulous friend Tia, and really had a great weekend. I was so sad to leave. Thanks girls for a great time.
For the 4th of July, we went to Canada! Yep, we are pretty unpatriotic. We didnt mean to plan it that way, it just sort of happened. We picked a weekend to go and visit Pammy and it just happened to be Independence Day. It, again, was a great weekend. We took Mac with us, so he got a chance to reconnect with Jazz, we went strawberry picking, ate some great food, and had some great wine. Pammy, thanks for a great weekend!
As for this weekend, we are spending some time at home, and enjoying our time in Boston. We are taking off on Tuesday to make the 21 hour drive back to MN for a week. Lots of fun things on the agenda: my 10 year class reunion, visiting my favorite people in the world (my family!), seeing Gabe & Kristin's new place, hanging out with Kirsten and Marshal, Jen & Isaiah, and everyone else that we love and of course Steph and Pat's wedding. It will be great to see everyone!
