Our Montreal hotel

Cheers!
This weekend was a big one for Ty & I. We celebrated his birthday (yep, his birthday is in February, but this was our first free weekend) by taking a trip to Montreal. We headed to Burlington, VT on Friday. Beautiful place. Ty and I can really see ourselves living there someday...so who knows! We spent Friday afternoon through Saturday there, and then it was one to Montreal. Montreal was great. We had a great hotel, great dinner, etc. It was so nice to get away and have a weekend for just the two of us. We decided to come home on Sunday, so that we could be in town for the Boston Marathon. So, So glad that we did. Brooke and Sasha invited us to a roofdeck party at the Lenox, which is a hotel in Boston. The best part...the roof deck looked over the finish line. As you might expect, there was thousands of people in Boston for the marathon, so getting to see it, nonetheless the finish line is almost impossible. But having the chance to see it from the top was amazing. We saw the women and men winners cross the finish line! Wow! Completely exhilirating.
We also had a friend who ran and finished, despite an awful injury! WAY TO GO ASHLEY!!!! I am completely in awe of your determination!
Other topics of interest....I am done with this semester! YAY! Still awaiting my grades, though...so I still feel a bit on edge. Next semester...starts on May 4, so it is nice to have a couple weeks off. Ty is still busy at work, but year 2 is almost over. He is working on a job search. Mac spent the weekend at his favorite cousin's house and is completely exhausted! He and Rocco have such a great time together. Coming up: Kirk visits this weekend! Cannot wait to see him. After that, we have our 1/2 marathon on May 3, and then my cousin Brady is here for a visit the following week! So excited to have visitors.
Also, congrats to our friends Kristin and Gabe on the sale of their house! I can only imagine that it is a huge weight off their shoulders!! Congrats, guys!!!
